Instagram, YouTube, games, a browser. Make a block list once and reuse it for every session.
Block distractions, track every study hour, and stay consistent till exam day. Sthito is the study app for students who are done losing evenings to the scroll.
Built for serious exam prep
Three steps. No willpower required after the first tap.
Instagram, YouTube, games, a browser. Make a block list once and reuse it for every session.
Timer, Pomodoro or stopwatch. Those apps stay locked until it ends. In strict mode, there is no pause button to bargain with.
Every minute lands on your day's timeline, your streak and your weekly total, and you can see how others preparing for your exam are doing.
One calm app instead of a timer, a planner, a tracker and a blocker that doesn't really block.
Most blockers fall to a simple trick. Every Sthito release is tested against eleven known ways around a blocker before it ships.
Countdown timer, Pomodoro with breaks, or an open stopwatch.
A 24-hour timeline shows where every session went, colour-coded by subject.
Compete with people preparing for the same exam, not the whole internet. Only real, timed sessions count.
Plan your study blocks for the week. Blocking switches on by itself when a block begins.
Allow 20 minutes of YouTube a day, not four hours. Keep calls, maps and study apps always allowed.
Daily goal, streaks, subject split and full history. Download your sessions as CSV whenever you like.
During setup you write down why you're studying. That line is what you see every time you open a blocked app. Seeing your own words works better than a lecture.
Sthito never uploads which apps you use. Usage data stays on your phone. We only sync what you'd want back on a new phone: your subjects, sessions, lists and schedules.
Read the privacy policyExam prep is expensive enough. Everything you need to study with focus costs nothing: no trial that runs out, no feature that disappears next month.
The Gita describes the sthita-prajña, one of steady mind. Unshaken by praise or pressure, focused on the work itself. That's the student we're building for.
Yes. Focus sessions, strict mode, app blocking, limits, schedules, stats, streaks and leaderboards are all free, with no ads. Our charter says we'll never move a free feature behind a paywall.
Android only lets an app block other apps if it can tell which app is open. Sthito uses Usage Access only to notice when a blocked app opens, and "Display over other apps" to show the block screen on top of it. It never reads what's on your screen, and your app usage never leaves your phone.
That's the point: it's hard. In strict mode there's no pause, the block list can only grow, and restarting the phone or changing the clock won't end a session early. For real emergencies there's an emergency exit, and the session is recorded honestly.
Android 8.0 and newer. Sthito works offline and syncs when you're back online. iPhone and web versions are planned.
Sign in with Google in one tap so your study history is backed up and follows you to a new phone. If Google sign-in doesn't work on your phone, you can continue as a guest and link Google later.
In the app, open the You tab and tap Delete account. Everything we store about you is permanently deleted. You can also request deletion here.
Sthito is almost ready for Google Play. Start your first focus session on launch day.
